I’m a Los Angeles native. I wasn’t introduced to the outdoors until my early adulthood and now it’s a fierce passion that has fueled me in countless ways. I started off with the local popular hikes and soon was craving bigger and more remote adventures. I’ve always been interested in American history and was astonished when I learned there is so much history that our local mountains contain. The connection of trekking these mountains with history in mind has been so fulfilling. In my blog I attempt to visit some of these historical sites and also visit the hidden beauty that the San Gabriels offer.
