Angeles Crest Christian Camp

In the early 1940s a man named Harold “Hal” DeBar, had obtained a lease on U.S. Forestry land with the intention to run a boy’s camp. Instead, DeBar later gifted this land lease to a group of ministers to establish Angeles Crest Christian Camp. It is now a 100-acre modern campground with cabins, meeting halls, a dining hall, chapel and large outdoor amphitheater. They offer plenty of recreational space for endless activities. They have expanded to include the neighboring camp, Singing Pines which offers Cedar lake (John Dee Lake) for canoeing or paddle-boating.
Their mountain top experiences include their own retreats (Father and Son Retreat, Mother and Daughter Retreat, Winter Camp Youth, etc) and space to host independent groups. The camps focus is on Christianity, community and nature.
